Sent my 2004 Benelli SBE II out for a new face.
As it turned out, the outfit that I sent it to was forced out of business due to a health issue.
I asked Hooked Spur on here who he would recommend and he mentioned his friends at GSU Finish Worx. I called and talked to Chaz, one of the partners. By the end of that conversation I knew I had my guys.
Well, we went back and forth deciding what I wanted and what they could do and came up with a plan. New Bottomland and a bolt reface, AND turkey tracks...
Mike, the other partner and I went over the layout of the tracks and the coloring. He sent me pictures of the location options and I decided on one that I had envisioned.
Partway through the project, I decided I wanted a larger slammer button installed. Mike said that shouldn't be a problem and before long I got a picture of the drilling and tapping job.
I was excited but, you know, any project has it's minor let downs. I was prepared for that.
Well, today the gun arrived. Excited as anything, I cut open the wrapping while telling myself, "Don't get your hopes up too high..."
I'm telling you, I pulled that thing out of the box and WOW! They knocked it out of the park and into the next COUNTY! Could not be better...Could not be!
As you can see the bottomland is dark and defined. The flat black Ceracote is perfect and that slammer button, man does that make releasing the bolt easy!
The tracks turned out more than perfect...Everything, I mean everything is phenomenal, just phenomenal...
I'd recommend Mike and Chaz for any camo work you have. They do absolutely stunning work and it's not just surface work. They take the arm down to bare material and start fresh. They're the real deal peeps!
Thanks Steve for recommending them and thanks Chaz and Mike for doing such stellar work on the gun my late dad gave me. I know I'll be looking down at it and getting a warm fuzzy sometime in April...

Very cool looking. Thinking of sending out my sbe 2 after the season. Thinking bottomland for the stocks, all metal work done in flat dark Earth cerakote, and choke done in armor black cerakote

That's what mine looks like too!  I sent mine to rob Robert's to get done. I hope the finish they applied to yours lasts longer than mine did. It still looks good but it wasn't as durable as advertised.
