For a locator I use an old HS strut Hammerin Crow. It is nasty loud and raspy. For actualcrow hunting, I have 4/5 I actually got from vendors on this site. They are all good. I like walnut and cherry

husker

Chad Scruggs!  Like his better than my Gibson (also very good)

Gobble!

Gibson is hard to beat

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Deafman

Another vote for Gibson, if that won't shock them I don't think anything will!

FL-Boss

Hooks crow call. I have Gibson as well...never use. Hooks is nasty loud

Do some actually work better then others at shocking gobblers?  This will be my first year actually going out on my own turkey hunting. Don't know a whole lot about all the calls yet.

I second the Hammering Crow for shock gobbling. I have called in crows with it, I don't think those that are not hunted are that picky.  But they learn fast!

I had a HS hammering crow but, lost it and got a Primos. I don't remember the model. They're both good.
Listen for the gobble
