Been watching the weather and finished up my shot trap this week so I loaded up today to testing my trap (worked GREAT) and test a few loads and chokes....

Apex #9/ .570 Rob Roberts  (best performance of all choke/load combos)

Apex #9/ .562 Sumtoy

Federal #9/ .562 Sumtoy

Federal #9/ .570 Rob Roberts

Federal #8x10/ .562 Sumtoy

Federal #8x10/ .570 Rob Roberts (this was my 2nd best pattern)

And I weighed my shot I caught from my trap. Caught roughly 5 oz of 6.25 oz of #9's I shot

SteelerFan

Nice!! Thanks for sharing. Looks like you're ready!!

surehuntsalot

some fine looking patterns there
I really like the 570 RR and the Federal 8x10's
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

sixbird

Man, I'd take any of those patterns! All nice and even...

KyScott

All very nice patterns but those Apex 9's RR .570 look mean.

^^^^^youch.  Is tss hard enough that making a trap for them to collect makes them reusable?

KyScott

Nice patterns buddy and agreed that .570 and Apex is sweet.
