We're having a nasty snow/rain mix today, and I'm sitting at home wishing I could be at Unicoi. Between that and seeing all the collection posts lately I decided to get a bunch of calls out to run, and decided to take some pics. This is one of my favorite parts of my collection and I thought I would share. Gary's call in my opinion are top notch, but the quality of wood he chooses and his finish are second to none. Here are mine, and I'd love to see pics of other people's collections of Gary's calls or even just a group of calls from a maker that your most proud to own in your collection, so please share.

Top to Bottom and L to R:

Paduak Slate, Ceramic, Glass
Canarywood Slate, Green Slate, Glass, Crystal
Walnut Slate, Powdered Aluminun, Glass

Shedua Ceramic, Annodized Aluminum / Pistachio Glass, Slate

Soundwise, probably the Walnut powdered aluminum. For personal reasons, the Mahoe glass. Couldn't imagine  being able to keep only one though, because all of them are pretty dang good. The Bubinga slate/slate is very strong and Gary doesn't typically use slate soundboards as all the others are over glass.

Awesome colllection of Gary's pots. I have a handful. I don't have any of his glass. Blue Mahoe looks like it might reel me in.

Please post up some pics! I was hoping people would come and add pictures of their collections of Gary's calls whether it be only 1 or if you have even more than me. Gary chooses such an amazing selection of wood, and has the most quality finish in my opinion. I know some people have some of the "Bacon Butter" Paduak that I'd love to see pics of!

I should be getting a call from Gary soon on a bacon pattern Padauk that I ordered, I hope it looks like the pic of the sample he sent, really neat looking wood.
