Looking for some help getting started reloading for the 10, tried factory loads with less than stellar results.

I'm keeping an eye on this one, I just made a trade for an SP10.

How many shells per year are you planning on shooting? If only a few buy you some TSS loaded by Apex Ammunition. I load TSS but it costs a lot to gear up for it.

Problem is they rarely have them in stock

I load for 12 & 20. What information are you looking for? Where I do not have 10 gauge recipes the procedure and equipment are similar. Years ago I considered loading for it, but after I saw what was possible with 12 & 20's I abandoned the thought. Kept the gun and chokes, hadn't hunted with a 10 in  years.

When you say you tried factory loads did you try the federal heavyweight 7's? They will absolutely smash a turkey further than you can talk about on here. I think Nitro Ammo Company may be loading 10 ga TSS also if Apex is out.

I just bought 2 boxes of 10 ga. TSS from Apex

What choke are you using for the #7, I tried a trulock.695 with unimpressive results.
