Turned on lathe by hand out of high density wood laminate that is phenolic impregnated.

Mad Baton Custom Calls, John Haines.

Very hard, dense and constistant material.  Well balanced striker with flare tip.  Sanded to 6,000 grit and multi-coat finish that is smooth as glass.  This materials is weather resistant and will not absorb moisture.

I really like the sound from these strikers!
Different strikers give your calls different turkey sounds which is great for hunting

Custom orders for straight tip, flare tip and different color combos is always welcome.
