Between these 2 shotguns which would you prefer don't plan on shooting 3.5 shells is that the only real difference between the 2?

I love my SBEII but if I didn't shoot 3 1/2" shells for waterfowl, I would've bought an M2.

I went with the M2 field with the 24in barrel couldn't pass up the deal I got

The SBE II is drilled and tapped where the M2 is not.
Also some differences is receiver.
But both are great gun I have both.

I have an easily SBE II and it's not drilled and tapped. In fact l went to a Gunsmith who told me he couldn't drill a crio barrel it's to hard?

The M2 American edition can be had for $699 at a few places here lately. I picked up a 26" MO Bottomland back in the spring....feel like it was a heck of a deal.
