Had one offered to me for $50. It's basically a rebranded Stevens model 94. Pics looked decent but it's strictly a 2-3/4" chamber. Thinking about getting it and sending it to William to get it threaded for remchokes and having him install a sight mount. Stoke it with some 2-3/4" rounds packed full of TSS and let it rip. If the recoil isn't bad it might be good for the girls. Thoughts or opinions?

How can you go wrong with a $50 expense? Damn, you can get a crappy meal for two for a lot more. Go for it if it's in good condition

Much better condition than I expected actually. Pic looked fine but you know how that goes. They can often times be misleading. Turns out, it's in really good shape given the age. Think they were made from '32-'63 or something like that. It's in good shape.
