Got an upgrade just now. Spurs still aren't fantastic but let's be honest. It ain't gonna take much to upgrade from the first one I killed.

Glad they were talking to you today.
Only heard 4 gobbles on the roost but had to leave the woods at 815.

Didn't hear a peep on the roost up here. I struck this one about. 9:45. Only bird I heard.

Didn't hear a peep until 10:45 this morning. Called and he gobbled 250 yards away across a creek bottom. Gobbled a lot coming in though...

Good stuff. I'll be in the woods tomorrow until 12. Hopefully I can find a hot one. I've got to watch 4 die but only my opening day bird came gobbling into the call.
