Hi Dazzler!

1. Not sure but I dont see why not, you may want to check with T/C prior.
2. Sorry a little confused.....what type of suggestions are you looking for?
3. Its a WIN/Moss 500 20 ga thread pattern.

I am running a Burris Speed Bead 3 on my gun with an Indian Creek in .555 with Fed TSS #9s for out of state hunts and the Indian Creek .570 with Fed TSS #7s (smallest size we can run in CT.) Both are MORE than adequate for 40 yds.

The gun is so light and handy I dont want to carry any of my other t-guns any longer. I have way too many and am thinking of selling them all and buying a back up T/C 20ga.  Love the thing!

Thanks for the info.  #2 was supposed to say suggested load and choke combo, but I think you answered it.

Hey Dazzler,

I'm running a Haymaker .560 with Hevi Magblends. I also have a Truglo .543 and I got nice patterns with the old Remington Hevishot 6's and Fed Heavyweight 6's & 7's.

My son and I both took birds this year with T/C Encore 20 gauge, Pure gold 570 choke and Hevishot 7's.  Nice even pattern at 40.

Good info. Thanks guys.

I tested a shell just to make sure my scope had not moved since last spring.

I picked up a little reflex/red dot to try out on this little tac driver,I added the camo wrap..I really like the scope setup but if this sight works it definitely is a lot lighter.I also have a few chokes  have not tested yet as I didn't need too and some new ammo on the way.I am going to run the truglo ssx .550 with some kent tk7 asap in this little gun.

I may sell the truglo .550 ssx and buy something in the .555-560 range to test.I was going to use the .550 on a mossberg but I could never pull the trigger on one, yet.

I wanted to make sure that the kent tk7 #7's would be ok to shoot from the .550 ssx truglo so I sent them an email and within 10 minutes this is the response I had

"Dear Mr. .........,

Thank you for this email.

This Kent load will work in the SSX choke.

TRUGLO does not recommend using shot larger than US #4 (3.30mm) through this choke.

We appreciate your interest in TRUGLO products.

Shoot safely,

I just purchased a primos tightwad .570 for this gun,I already have that choke for two other threads.I was told that the kent tk7 is going to shoot better from a more open choke.I now have 4 to test with this gun,the stock turkey choke, the .550 ssx,the .568 lbxr and the .570 tightwad.I am going to get the gun dialed in with the new red dot and then fire one shell from each of those chokes at 40 yards after each shot I will dry clean the barrel.I will then use the choke that delivers the pattern I like the best.I don't assume this will be before opening day,It will be sometime next week.

I received the Kent tk7 ammo today and am going later to sight in and pattern this gun with the new red dot and ammo.I ended up cancelling the tightwad choke as I was not going to get it for a few weeks.I figured I would test these three and if I don't get a pattern I like, then I will go ahead and buy it.

I have these to run tonight,

-Tc extra full stock turkey choke
-.568 long beard xr
-.550 truglo ssx

I plan on getting the gun sighted in and then shooting it at 40 yards with each choke. Then go from there.

I did not really have a lot of time this evening,I ended up just trying fiber optics as I decided to sell all my red dots and stick with beads, fiber optics or scopes.I found the kent tk7 shot very well at 40 yards from both the .550 ssx and .568 long beard xr,I did however notice it shot way high and I do not have that issue with any other ammo I shot with the fiber optics,I adjusted what I could,I say it hits approx 3-4" high at 40 yards.I would just aim at base of neck and boom. I will post a picture of the .550 ssx at 40 yards after i have dinner.

I could use this but I think i am going to stick with Fed tss #7's and my scope.

I wish would have had my scope with me but i didn't. I was in a bind for time.I am happy with the pattern,it just hits high and I was maxed with my fiber optics. The first shot at 40 I shot over,I like the ammo.I may run it through my bps to see what it does.I also plan on running a shell through the tc with my scope mounted.
