Hey guys, who would be a good call maker to order strikers from? I seem to prefer two piece and I'd like to add a few to the arsenal. I run mostly slate but do love my sneed outlaw hen green glass.

Oh, and I don't like flare tips. Just my preference

I don't know if he just makes strikers to sell but I have been very happy with every striker Mike Yingling has sent me with a call. They all have a good mass weight to them that sound good and play easy.I am sure there are many other good 2 peice strikers I am just telling you what I know.

if you are making  a 2 piece striker, and everyone using the same material. would you still be getting the same sound from them?? on the same pot??/  to me, all those 2 piece striker look the same, no matter who made it..

Get ahold of Twyatt on here, he makes phenomenal two piecers and doesn't run only Dymondwood pegs. He uses a lot of Mac Ebony pegs, but he uses a wide variety of pegs and heads. He does some nice laminate designs in his heads as well.

If you're going with a two piecer, go with Twyatt or Brad Roberts as TJ mentioned earlier, or even Harold Fowler.

If you're wanting a one piecer, go with Lyman, Stuckey, or even Fowler as well, as he does both designs.

What would you recommend for a slate?

I love hickory and persimmon on slate.

I traded I guy a call and he didn't have the striker that came with it but sent a Lonnie Marby two piece that runs on everything I have that is so awesome!

They are so many good ones out there for sure but if I had to take only one striker in my vest it would be one of the Lighthouse Laminated strikers made by Al Holbert at Enticer Calls. It has run well on every single call I have ever tried it on. It's a 2 piece striker & only cost $5.95 plus shipping.
