Was able to get above a flock of 20 plus birds and was able to call them up the hill towards my location

Good deal. Wish we still had flocks of 20 birds around here!  Biggest "flock" I've seen this year has been 7 birds. I always loved fall turkey hunting. This year I don't think I'll even go. I just can't get into it when the local population is getting worse every year. Hopefully things will rebound and I can shoot a hen without feeling guilty again!
