WTB "Daybreak" Gary L. Anderson Slate

As the title says. I'm trying to track down one of these. He did a few woods, but didn't make many slates in the first place, so I'm open to any combo. I'm also looking for one of his Shedua Aluminums. Let me know what ya'll got. I'll buy outright, as well as trade.

I hope you find one. That was one of the hardest calls for me to get a hold of. I had to give up a Clint Corder slate to get mine!

The one on eBay is a Pistachio slate. I have one of these and Gary told me he did not make many of them.

I hate to rain on your parade but if you do find a Daybreak slate you are going to pay very close to the one on eBay. I have had 2 Daybreak slates and I didn't care for the sound, very high pitched but that's my ear.

Well that's not exactly what I wanted to hear.... I love a lot of the same calls you love.

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't Gary Anderson still making calls? A few months ago I ordered a ceramic from daybreak. I get the impression from this post that they are collectors now

What TJ said is spot on....

He's still turning out a few Canary Crystals and Glass, Paduak Ceramics, and Shedua Aluminums, his bread and butter. With that being said though, he's making far fewer than ever before. I wouldn't be surprised if 2018 will be one of Garys last years building calls.

Otherwise I'm calling hoo-nanny on that seller. Usually it's an alt account to place last minute bid kinda high thing so it looks like someone else is in a bidding war with you, trying to get more money out of that person who just "HAS" to have it. And in this instance, no one else bid.
