Longbeard XR  1 1/4 oz. #6 shot out of a Stoeger 3020 26" bbl with an Indian Creek .555 at a laser verified 40 yds.  157 in the 10"

That's one tight pattern of #6. Real nice. You run an optic on that rig?

SA-08 20 ga Undertaker XT ported .575, 40Yds.
96 in the ten @ point of aim.  101 adjusted for highest density. Laser verified yardage. Vent rib off tripod.

That's the one I'd be hunting with. It seems LB is the only way to get a good 40 yard pattern with lead. 30-35 seems to be where the pattern begins dropping off w/ regular buffered loads but is still plenty acceptable. 35-40 is where they fall apart rather quickly.

That's my experience as well.  I never thought I would see lead patterns from a 20 like LB can produce.  If it was any tighter it would not have much margin for error.  I think we are at the limits of lead with LB.

Same pattern as above.  With hits marked.  A recount showed 97 hits in the 10" at point of aim.

Yes, I run a bushnell trophy 1.75-4x. I'll be shooting tss primarily through this gun but tried the longbeards, just to see how they did. I'd have no issues hunting with these for backups.
