Thinking about buying a backup turkey gun to my Super X2. I like the 24 inch barrel on the Stoeger but I can get the camo 870 for under $400. Thoughts on these 2 and any others to consider?

Thanks!!!

I'd go with the 870.  American made, easy to get parts, wider selection of barrel options (both factory and aftermarket), etc.  Not to say that the M3500 wouldn't serve you very well.

Do you want and auto or a pump? Pretty simple question really. 3500 is a great gun and super easy to pattern and comes with a benelli warranty. If you already have a pump why buy another one that's practically they same thing

Yes the 3500's are easy to pattern. I don't have a picture of the whole pattern on this phone. But here is a couple I shot at cans at 40 yd (range finder) just messing around. The choke is a jebs 655 shooting 3.5/2/4 longbeard.

I think either gun will rattle your bones more than your Super X, why not get an SX3 camo gun.
