Gun is a 870 sps turkey/predator. 20 inch barrel and red dot. Jellyhead max .660 at lasered 40 yards off of a good rest. POA/POI was slightly off but got it lined up. The bore and choke was both deep cleaned before shooting using Clark's method. First shot from 40 put up 206 hits in the 10 inch Circle. I shot 7 times from 40 yds and with each shot the pellet count dropped 4-6  pellets as the bore got dirtier. Shot number 7 produced 186 in the 10. Pretty happy with the patterns so I think I'll clean the bore back up and put the gun up until season. Here's a few pics.

Looks good. I have older Remington 11-87 21" .just got me some long beards 3" #5 shot just waiting to mount my Tru Glo gobble dot oi it when the sight comes in the mail. The wait is killing me already.

Thank you. Does anybody think the gaps in the pattern are something to worry about? i originally intended on shooting 6 shot but academy only had 5s so i grabbed a box. I could probably shoot the 6s and get a more dense, even pattern but I havent patterned enough shotguns to know if the choke is blowing the 5s out or not. Any recommendations?

There's not to many gaps there in a 10" ring that's a dead bird all day I would not worry about it that's a nice pattern at 40 yards.

That's a great pattern for number fives
