Tried my new Hevi choke after I got out of the woods today. Both patterns were shot at 40yds.

3.5" Hevi 7s

3.5" Magblends

Can't complain about that pattern!

That hevi choke does some good stuff, and I think one of the better bargains out there.  It shoots as well as my Rhino but at a fraction of the price.

The Hevi choke has proven to be a excellent choke in a variety of guns.

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

I like the #7 pattern! I also tried the Mag Blend 3.5" out of SBE2 prior to season and was getting in the 220 range through a RR .655. Need to try a box of the Heavy 7's.

Try the Federal heavyweight #7 shot ....you wont get those kind of #s but the killing power compared to ANY other commercially loaded shell is UNEQUALED !!!!! Both of those are good patterns though. Just FYI...I have the same gun but in 24"bbl. and a Roberts Final Strut .650 shootin the Hevi 7s and got 336 in a 10" circle. Try chokin' it down a lil more.
