Finally got to try the highly praised Long Beard XRs.. And I'm certainly glad I did.!!

These patterns were shot with:
>Mossberg 835
>Truglo SSX .670 choke
>Winchester LB XR, 3.5", #6
>Weaver Micro Dot sight

Range is marked in pics.

Dang good pattern. I shoot a mossy with a kicks .680. Guess I'm going to have to try some of these longbeards out of it.

They were quite impressive.. They're all I'll ever need.. The only problem with them, would be missing at 25 yds.. The targets in the pictures were 10 squares. I took a sharpie and drew a circle to cut the corners off, and counted over 260 pellets in the 10" circle..

Nice. I have the same choke and using #5s instead of 6s. Nice combo for me as well.

I'm thinking about trying a different choke with these #6s.. it's a little tight. May try the #5s.

Maybe shooting the 3" shells instead of 3 1/2" might give you what you want.

That's not a bad idea. I may try that. Thanks.!!

Anyone shoot the #6's out of a .690 Jellyhead choke.  I am worried the .670 SSX is a little tight also.
