Just got back from Kansas. We all limited out. My best bird was a very satisfying hunt. Birds were not very responsive to calling at all. We had one group patterned and new their roost area. Sat dead still in the pouring rain for 2 hours waiting on birds to move into area. Patience paid off. Bird came running in at 25 yards with 6 hens. A few cuts to raise his head and BOOM! Blew the snot out of.....a limb. Bird takes off but I cut at him again and he stops at 40. Dropped in his tracks. Weighed in at 19.40 pounds and nice hooks. Pics posted to score thread
