Here's a close up of the Damascus barrels...this was one of the first choked guns. I think it's choked about 30 thousands in each barrel.

I had a Purdey 10 ga. hammer gun, it was built in 1879. The barrels were not original on it they had been sleeved. I killed quite a few turkeys with it before I sold it.

I seen a video once of a guy turkey hunting with a dog. The dog was a lab and he's was under camo netting watching the hunt go down shaking with excitement.  After the shot he's was on the bird like white on rice. I though it was the coolest thing ever.

As pretty as are those barrels, I have a soft spot for a sporting dog....

There is no Fall Turkey Season in my county or even close by, but I think I'm hooked.

What do you think, Chloe?

Very nice thank you for sharing!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

That is one fine looking shot gun and a heck of a picture.
