Thinking about purchasing one of these before this season rolls around.  Just curious which one y'all own or like the best and why you choose it.  Heard things like the synthetic is louder than the walnut or the walnut sounds more realistic.  Just looking for some solid info and first hand experiences with it.  Thanks to all that reply!!

I called james and he played the owl hooter and a crow call over the phone for me. I got a matching pair. The hooter is pretty easy to use.

I have the synthetic version....it has held up VERY VERY well!!!  It's probably four or five years old now & I still have NO complaints!!!  :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:

I'm not a Christian because I'm strong and have it all together. I'm a Christian because I'm weak and admit I need a Saviour!

I just ordered a flamed Osage hooter from James.  Will let you know once it arrives.

Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

I have the synthetic version and really like it.  Very durable and great sound.
