I went for my morning constitutional and I heard at least two different gobblers a gobbling. I could not believe it. This is august and about 11 am in the morning.

Hey Beak -- I know those mid year gobbles always catch me off guard. Turkeys will gobble all year long; heard a couple few years back gobbling for almost an hour in the middle of a blowing snow storm during the second week of buck season.
