I've been seeing a number of mechanical aids for turkey decoys.  For example, he Bass Pro Shop catalog has a "remote strutter decoy system" that you control.  I don't know what the law is where you hunt, but in Michigan it's pretty clear; "Mechanical, electronic or live decoys are prohibited.  Mechanical decoy means any device that by design or construction uses motion as a visual stimulus to attract a wild turkey, except a wind sock or similar decoy body anchored at a fixed point into the ground and whose only motion is derived exclusively by power of the natural wind."
In other words, all those movable decoy thingies are not legal in Michigan.  Just thought you ought to know...

Yea, it it gets better with each passing day, why don't we just put up a real high fence and just see if we can shoo them in thru this narrow gate with a remote control on it, and then when we get a whole bunch of strutting gobblers passing in just push the button..bingo..you got him..no way he can fly over that. Go to throwing lead at 47 yards and see how many pellets can put in the head and neck area. Yea, just gets better as we go along. Ole, if the old timers could see us now....oh how complicated this turkey hunted has got.
