Nikon turkey scope

I just bought a browning bps nwtf with dura touch armour coating and i was wondering if my nikon turkey scope will stand up to it.What is a good base to use?I'm kinda new to these turkey scopes but my eyes arent what they used to be and i think this scope will help.
