I bought the Indian Creek .665...Gun has been shot only 15 times since brand new...Shot it today with freshly cleaned bore (not polished) 6's and 7's , 199 even spaced pellets in 10" and 392 in 20" with #7 Hevi 13 2 1/4oz...and 125 in 10" and 261 in 20" with 2 1/4 oz #6 interestingly enough the point of impact is now low, meaning the Carlson choke was causing the gun to shoot high before...Carlson #'s were about the same with 6's and 175 in 10" with 7's...so the Indian Creek is doing better with the 7's...bought the new choke at Bass Pro because they are the only one in the area that carries them...didn't know Indian Creek was a MO based company so that's a nice bonus, keep the money at home whenever possible... Here are the pictures

Any further thoughts from anyone?

anyone feel like .665 is too tight? I've heard over the years that sometimes you can over do it...?  But also lots of guys on here posting big numbers...with this tube...maybe I'm being too picky :character0029:

Some of the guys on here are getting better patterns with the IC .675, El Diablo is one of them, my personal gun shoots better with a .665 IC, I'm shooting a SX3 and getting anywhere from 280 to 300 in the 10 with the #7's but with the .675 it opens up and truthfully probably gives a little better Hunting pattern out of my gun. Great thing about IC is you can call Stuart or Mike and they will swap chokes till your happy with your pattern!

Stuart at Indian Creek is having me send my tube in...he stated that the Super X2's for some reason really like the .675 Constriction while most other barrels do best with .665....he is exchanging my tube, I will post pictures when I get the new one on paper...

I shot a .660 in my SBE and I have shot tighter chokes. It depends on gun, shell and choke combo for the best preformance.

I had a sx2 with 24" bbl. and the IC .675 was the ticket!! Mine didnt like the .665 at all.

i just shot my NWTF SX2 with the .665 today, got 128 at 40 in the ten inch with Winchester Supreme 5s 3.5 inch, I think i'll be staying with the .665 in mine for lead anyways, haven't tried the HTL shells yet....

Got to love the X-2, I have a 690. rhino that I get 270 with the #7 hevi and 220 with the #6 hevis.
Have never shot an IC though, looks like yours loved the Ic chokes.
Don't gobble at me...

So I got the .675 choke from Indian Creek and it actually got worse...I ended up returning the Indian Creek and am going to Roberts Gun Works out of Arkansas...I'm going to try the .660 Final Strut and probably get the forcing cones lengthened if that tube doesnt' do it on its own. In speaking to them they stated the Hevi 13 Mag Blends have been their best loads consistently out of most guns, not that straight 6's and 7's are doing poorly...he also stated that Federal HW 7's are excellent even though the pellet numbers aren't that high.  This new tube being non ported will give me a chance to shoot the HW Federals and the FC Wad if it comes down to that.  Will post pictures when I get some more, this has been an interesting process, more to come...
