Were headed out to Putnam Co Missouri Monday morning for three days. Just wondering how it's looking in the northern Part of the state?

Just came home from Tx County, it is very GREEN. But the birds are killable. We shot 3 in 2 days. Good luck

This week, the toms were still stuck like glue to the hens and followed them all the way to the nesting areas well into the afternoon (after MO's 1pm cutoff) in both northern MO and southern IA.  They're definitely killable, but your best bet would be to find the strut zones and where they tend to enter and exit those zones.   Good luck!

Spring Creek Calls

Our group of 4 has killed 3 longbeards. We've experienced toms alone most of the day. Shot mine Thurs. on a cold windy morning, perfect for the long box! Good luck and be safe!

Turkey Beard

Father-in-law was bush-hogging yesterday, came across 2 nests with 11 eggs in each one.  Hoping for LONELY toms this week...  We had 3 turkeys killed in first 3 days...
