I've got my grand-dads old model 37 that I might tote a few times this year...It's labeled full choke but only shoots the 2 3/4 loads...any suggestions on what might pattern good on an oldie but goodie gun like this? (the thing is built like a tank!!) :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an

Try the 2 3/4" Federal FC in a #6 if not that get a Win 2 3/4 1 1/8 #6 .
The old Federal magnum shell in a 2 3/4 shell was a killer in a full choke and should be a tight pattern in the flight control shell. The pre flite control are available from Rogers Sporting Goods

Let us know how she goes.

My first post I was on 12 ga and not 20 gauge loads.

Another vote for flight control #6

if you could find some, the Winchester XX 2-3/4" 1-5/8oz #5's (red shell) and the Federal 2-3/4" 1-1/2oz #5 load are some very good rounds for a 2-3/4" gun
it's not the harvest,it's the chase

Get the Federal Heavyweight 2 3/4 7's

All thanks for the input...I will try the Win.xx's first and see what I get...
