I didn't think they made a bottomland version with the 24" barrel - did you custom order?

It's an exclusive model only sold by Hunter's Haven in Tupelo MS. Once I saw it has a 24" barrel and this camo I called them up to place an order. They have them in stock and the whole process was very easy. I have been looking for something like this for a while. Here is the gun on Winchester's website:

I overlooked that on the website - thanks for the info

Is the receiver drilled and tapped as stated on the website?

lunghit

Yes it is drilled and tapped. I love the Meadow Creek mount and went that way instead.

Thinking of trying a meadow creek mount on the next gun I set up but like having other options as well!

lunghit

Good looking gun and glad I can help. I'll let you know when I do some patterning, maybe next Wednesday if the weather allows.

Temp here today was 100 degree. I can't wait to shoot. Got a I/C .555 choke. Know it's tight but planning on shooting TSS #9.

Got a Holosun 507c mounted and I/C .555 choke

I am glad I am not the only one with the Turkey gun disease. Fine looking collection there!
No you're not the only one. I enjoy putting them together and trying different chokes and loads. I am done now though I swear lol.

You know what happened when Pinocchio told a fib......lol
Lol I know. An over and under sometimes temps me but I love autos. The only other gun I might look into is the mossberg pro turkey only if they make a 20 gauge. But this new SX4 has everything I want in a gun. I was going to wait to pattern in the fall but I don't think I can hold off lol.
same...the 940 turkey pro in 20 or if remington ever makes a v3 turkey in 20 will probably be the only thing that makes me go 20 guage.

I'll put a sling on it and weight the whole setup tomorrow. I think it's right around 7 pounds

That's not too bad! I remember handling an SX4 compact years back and thought they would be to heavy to tote around in the turkey woods.

lunghit

Weighed it today with sling, choke and red dot sight and mount and it's 7.4 pounds.
