Spring Creek Calls

Again, my heartfelt condolences. Would it be possible to post a picture of Bob or Bob and yourself? Many of us have had  contact with Bob but never met him. I'd be happy to post picture if sent to my phone or email.

I'm very sorry for your loss.  I'm glad that you have so many memories - specifically hunting memories - because you'll find that you can get very close to him in the outdoors.

I lost my father almost exactly like you have - in November 2020.   You've given some good advice - we don't get to choose when things happen.

My father wasn't a turkey hunter, but he taught me the basics of hunting and respect for wildlife and the outdoors, for which I'm eternally grateful.  I don't want to make this about me - but even without a treasure trove of outdoor memories and zero turkey hunting memories - I am most connected to him when turkey hunting.  It must be the solitude and the deep peace of the places where turkeys live.

Keep an open mind and look for him.  You'll find him.
