I know it's not what your looking for, but just in case you're not familiar with them check out Turtle Skins snake gaiters.  I wear mine all through turkey season.

Dang; $200+ gaiters?

I think I paid around $150 for mine a few years ago. They're lightweight and you can change boots throughout a hunt or every other day and still have protection. They also protect your pants  from getting torn up. I've really enjoyed mine.

Might take a look; but what about protection for your foot?
I'm always wearing a leather hiking boot so I feel pretty safe in those. I don't think a snake would ever get through them. If you wear a softer material shoe maybe so.
