I've been hunting Spring turkeys for the past 20 years and have never once tried Fall hunting. I am a MS boy and we don't have a fall season. I am wanting some info on some good states to try it out this Fall. I am not asking for your private honey hole. Only some general info. Thanks for any help in advance.

Just pick a state where they have a season. It doesn't have to be a hot spot. If there's turkeys it's good. I would go for one of the states that open in October. As winter comes on they get into bigger winter flocks and pile up on food. When you find them it's great, but  they are harder to find then in early seasons when you have many small flocks running around. If you do it once you'll get hooked. You'll hear more turkey sounds then you ever imagined.

Tennessee is extremely good in the fall!
