I purchased some latex for tube calls (bulk) and I have a rotary cutter tool.  Do I just use a straight edge and rotary cutter?  Also wondering if it matters if I play the call on the cut edge vs factory edge.  Thanks, I couldn't find any threads for cutting your own latex.

Straight edge and rotary cutter.  If it's Straight it will not matter which side.

Have a good one

I run tube calls 99.9% of the time. After cutting my latex with scissors for 27 years I just recently purchased a rotary cutter. Best thing I ever did!
Back to your question...cut edge or factory edge will both work fine. I have found that when cutting with scissors sometimes my cuts we jagged but still ran good on a call.
