when I shot LBXR #6s I had sumtoy make me a choke. I sent him the barrel and he made me a .655. Grant it, it was a 21" barrel. years ago when I shot a full length barrel and any #6s "prior to lbxr" I shot a .660 With TSS I shoot a .665. A lot of 870 users like a .665 , but youll have to do the hand work yourself. You could very well use a tighter choke than that.

Which Gun

Indian Creek .665 I'm shooting 5's longbeards out of my supermag.

Cottonmouth

Another vote for Indian Creek .665. If you can get your hands on an old Remington ventilator,  they do a great job, too.

Which Gun

Indian creek .665 longbeard  3 1/2" no. 5's

Vintage

Try the factory choke first. Then make the decision if you need to spend the money on another choke tube.

You guys are making it hard for me not to switch from a Carlson .665 LB choke to the IC .665.

I ended up trying the IC 665  and the factory rem super full turkey choke and they both shot the exact same. The rem choke actually shot just a couple pellets more. Rem super choke @40 yards in 10" circle was 225. IC 665 was 220
