Scalarworks Mount on 20 Ga Benelli M2 ??

Can anyone tell me if the Scalarworks Sync Mount will fit on a Benelli M2 20 gauge?

Their description says it will fit a M2 Tactical, which I believe is a 12 gauge. I called them, but all they could do was send me a drawing of the mount with measurements for screw spacing (my m2 is not drilled yet).  I just want to make sure the curvature of the mount works with the M2 20 gauge before I order.

Thanks

I'm guessing its not gonna fit the M2 20ga perfectly. It's fits a 12 ga like a glove. Almost like the sight is made to the gun. I love mine.

Might sound crazy, but if the contour isn't perfect, mask the receiver and slap some JB weld on there to make a perfect mold of the receiver. It can't be off by much.

That would be an option. I've bedded plenty of rifle rifle actions with Devon steel putty.

FYI - I got the mount in and it fits the M2 20 gauge receiver contour

Update - the M2 has a groove machined in the top of the receiver that gets deeper towards the chamber. Due to this, the gunsmith said I would have 2 threads of engagement at best on the front screw. This spooked me, especially being the receiver is aluminum.

I now have a sumtoy mount on order...

The Sumtoy is a much shorter mount and it positions both screws at the rear of the receiver, where the receiver metal is much thicker
